Helen Ash - HR Consultant

Helen started her consultancy following an early career in the fast-paced customer orientated service sector where she worked in buying function for a major department store group, before moving into a store management role and then specialising in HR.

She has fulfilled a range of HR roles, from store based Personnel Management through to a Board Level appointment with a major PLC and has worked within a wide variety of business cultures.

This broad commercial background and the detailed operational understanding allowed her to develop a pragmatic, realistic approach to solving the challenges facing the management of people to achieve organisation growth.

Since starting her consultancy, she has worked extensively with clients across a wide variety of sectors in both the commercial and ‘not for profit’ sectors of the market, she has undertaken non–executive director roles and has worked as a visiting lecturer for Westminster University.
